Dive into the future of offshore wind: join our workshop
To ensure that the design for our proposed deep water testing facility meets the current and future needs of the floating offshore wind industry, we're holding a workshop in early April to gather insights from industry and academic leaders.

We’ve received early-stage development funding from The Crown Estate Supply Chain Accelerator to design a ground-breaking UK national deep water testing facility. It would support the UK Floating Offshore Wind (FLOW) market.
Currently, the UK lacks a commercial deep water testing facility large enough to test floating foundations/sub structures with the full mooring spread at a scale suitable for design verification, certification, and warranty purposes. Our proposed facility will fill this gap, allowing platforms to be tested with the full catenary mooring spread at scales of approximately 1:50.
This state-of-the-art facility will accelerate the development and deployment of floating offshore wind technologies, helping the UK achieve its renewable energy targets and drive the transition to a low-carbon economy.
